Translucental film is a self-adhesive PVC material designed for illumination. Dedicated to make durable markings of unusual shapes. It has a thickness of 80 and its maximum width is 152 cm.
What properties make translucent film popular?
Our foil has a satin finish (half-shield, half-mat), thanks to which we will avoid unwanted light reflections. It provides even light dispersion, with reflected and passing light, at the same time the light source is not visible. Its structure allows for faithful color reproduction after backlighting. Translucentne film is characterized by high color saturation. It has excellent parameters in the range of tensile resistance (min. 130%), tear (19 MPa) and atmospheric factors. It does not damage with temperature changes from -40oC to +90oC, under the influence of UV radiation or moisture, so it can be exposed both indoors and outdoors. It is easily processed on cutting plotters, where we cut it to the right shape or cut the signs and motifs in it. External applications have a lifespan from 5 years (metallic colors) to 7 years (other colors).

What is worth knowing when doing a project on translucent film?
- Before you design a theme using our foil, read the specification of the preparation of the file for printing. You will find this document on our website.
- Remember to keep the safe area, which is 5 cm each on each side, otherwise your pattern may be trimmed.
- In order to increase the durability of the film, we recommend laminating with a laminate.
- Translucenter film is printed in UV, UV Flat, solvent HR or latex technology. In order to obtain saturated colors, we offer double the theme on top or both sides.
- You have the opportunity to create a multi-colored pattern also from the film itself, then we will use sheets with different colors.
- We cut your project so as not to cut the wax primer. After getting rid of unnecessary elements, we apply it to the transfer film, thanks to which you will transfer it in the same layout during the application.
How and where is translucenter film used?
Due to the long service life and unusual properties, the film is used to glue the Plexiglass plate illuminated from the back, e.g. in light advertising (cables, semaphores, 3D letters, 3D shapes), we also apply it to glass and tensioned banner materials. We goutter any theme (e.g. company name), in this form you can glue it on your medium. Translucent film is used on advertising and decorative surfaces in shops, supermarkets, company outlets, hotels, restaurants, at gas stations.
