Mesh mesh is a PVC material with a perforated structure. Thanks to its relatively small weight – compared to the standard Frontlight banner – it is ideally suited as a material for the production of large-format advertising. The perforated structure of the material makes it lighter by an average of 120-150 grams from the Frontlight banner.
Mesh net – solution for very large needs
Mesh net, thanks to its relatively light weight, is chosen for printing ads with a very large format. This difference in weight is important when installing a banner on the facades of buildings, where too much weight can have a negative impact on their construction. This is easy to illustrate with a simple example: a banner made on a 20 x 5 m frontlight material will have about 45 kg, where using a mesh only about 33 kg. You can easily count how it looks with much larger ads.
An additional feature that largely convinces you to choose a mesh grid is its punched structure. Small holes on the surface of the material pass the wind, which is important, especially in very windy places. Reducing additional stresses and loads – caused by wind gusts – is an important aspect when choosing the right solution.
What are the mesh mesh applications?
Mesh mesh net in addition to the use of very large prints will also work as a banner for fences or net with a print on the scaffolding. The permeability of the air – through the structure of the material – reduces its susceptibility to tear, so it is worth considering this solution wherever there is open space and large gusts of wind.
Another use of the material is its placement on scaffolds placed at the walls of commercial or residential buildings during the renovation of external facades. Through the punched structure, the rooms are partly light, which is very important, especially when the work will last for a longer time.
Mesh mesh and finish variants
The mesh grid can be finished freely, depending on the size of the print itself and the type of media on which it will be presented. The most popular solution is the weld around with mounting mesh. With very large prints, it is worth considering additional amplification of the edge with reinforcing tape or placing omega-stabilizing belts.
