Monomer film – a popular solution
Monomeric film is a popular and economical material used in large-format printing. Advertising on monomeric foil is used in outdoor and internal advertising. Monomer film is self-adhesive, which definitely facilitates its convenient application. Printing on monomeric foil is characterized by a high color saturation.
The surfaces on which the film will be applied should be devoid of convexity, refragis, waves, protrusions (the film has no plastic properties). The surface area where the application will be made should be non-deformation and rigid. In addition, monomeric film is an excellent material for creating creative advertising or interior design.
Monomer film – types and adhesives used
Most often, the following adhesives are used for the application of monomeric film: durable, removable, tubule. Other adhesives used are gray or black, which are used when you want to mask an unsightly surface under the foil, or another graphic on it. Monomer film has a lifespan in external conditions up to approx. 1 year.
Printing on adhesive film with laminate
As a result of the use of laminate, the life of the film is significantly extended. Its structure is strengthened, it is protected from faded. Monomeric film additionally protected with laminate is more resistant to the negative effects of the sun or rain – it retains its aesthetic appearance for longer, it can also be cleaned with gentle means.
Printing on self-adhesive foil – the most common applications
Monomer film is often used to create elements of advertising and marketing campaigns. Here are the most common applications:
